T1 Voice over Ethernet

Enterprise management faces the challenge of moving both
voice and data from one place to another. With T1
voice over Ethernet technology a single network can be
created to deliver both voice and data between the places while
maintaining full priority and quality for the voice traffic.
You can do this without any modification in the telephony
structure inside the building.
The voice over Ethernet technology makes available a
transparent interconnection of private branch exchange (PBX),
telecom switches and T1 based communication system via LANs,
MANs and optical wireless system. This solution provides a
method of communicating native voice traffic from PBXs
offices.
Both service provider and customer can be benefited from voice
over Ethernet technology. T1 voice over Ethernet technology
permits carriers to present a complete voice and data solution
to multi site entrepreneur customer. These customers have both
PBXs combining their voice traffic and Ethernet switches
managing their data traffic.
To transmit both of these technologies from one to another the
carrier would use either two separate networks or convert the
Ethernet to T1 traffic which reduce the bandwidth alarmingly.
With T1
Voice over Ethernet technology the provider can utilize an
Ethernet service delivery network. It will be possible by using
Virtual Private LAN service technology to connect and Ethernet
Circuit technology.
Any T1 signal can be passed across ethereal network using voice
of Ethernet technology. The best example is to connect several
PBXs that are which are spread out across multiple
location.
As an alternative to of running separate T1 connection,
industry standard T1 Voice Over Internet switch modules can be
used to combine the voice traffic from the PBX on to the
Ethernet backbone. There will be no degradation as far as
quality of voice is concerned. In addition, the existing
telephone network remains untouched.
Carriers in search of making better use fiber optic cabling can
also use T1 voice over Ethernet technology to interconnect
Class five switches. As the bandwidth of T1 connection is quit
low many of them can be sent across a single gigabit Ethernet.
Some of the modular designs permits from 4 to over ninety T1
connections to be passed from a single Ethernet line.
