FAQ And Tips You Can Use
As you read these frequently asked questions, you’lll come to realize how different we are and you’ll be asking us…
“Where were you guys 3 1/2 years ago?”
1- How do you get paid?
Our earnings are based on your usage from the carrier. There is no cost to you… you do not pay us on your savings as other consultants will charge you.
If we save you $10,000… you do not have to pay me half the savings that other consultants charge, instead…it stays all in your pocket.
Since we’re paid by the carriers on a monthly basis, its our job to keep you happy. Because if we don’t, you’ll leave us and we no longer get paid.
2 - What do you mean by becoming my telecom department at no cost to me?
Telecom departments are responsible for handling everything telecom related from getting the lowest pricing, auditing bills for bogus charges, billing errors, trouble issues, coordinating telecom vendors and many more responsibilities.
If you don’t have a current telecom department, then yourself or one of your employees has to handle these tasks. So when I say – ”I become your telecom department” – then my staff and I take over these responsibilities.
If you currently have a telecom department, then we assist them with these tasks so they can now give their attention to more productive matters.
3 - I see everyone online offering these incredible low rates, how do I know they’re for real, it seems too good to be true.
You are correct. You do have to read the fine print. Not all rates mean the same thing. A 2.5 cent rate doesn’t always mean the same thing. You have to pay careful attention to the billing increments.
Many times a 2.5 rate will be closer to 4 cents or even higher because of their billing tricks. Instead of the standard 18/6 billing, they’ll round up your call in 30 or 60 second increment, instead of 6 second increments.
What this means to you is… if you’re on a call for 1 minute and 5 seconds, they’ll round up your call to either 1 minute and 30 seconds or 2 minutes. As you can see, this can easily raise your bill by 15-45%. The bigger your bill, the bigger the difference will be. I’ve seen the horror stories of this shady practice.
All the carriers I represent will be either 6/6, 18/6 and even 6/1 billing increments . So my 2.5 cent rate is really 2.5 cents.
4 - Why don’t you have a rate calculator on your site showing all the different carriers and their rates?
If you are only spending a few hundred dollars on your phone bill, then rate calculators are fine but if you are spending more, then you’ll need a full because I need to look at your calling patterns, and if bigger, possible T1 connection. Rate calculators can not analyze your bill.
Also, the results of these types of sites can be confusing. What looks best isn’t always in your best interests. With the different variables, such as instate vs out of state calling, switch or t1, voip or SIP, can not be thrown together and offered as if you were shopping for life insurance.
I prefer to get to know you and your business. The importance of understanding your business is vital to offering you the correct telecom services.
5 - It seems that the traditional carriers like AT&T, MCI, Verizon etc… don’t always offer the most competitive rates – so how can I know these other carriers, that no one has ever heard of before, are stable and won’t be going out of business and leaving me without phone service.
Great question! You do have to be very careful in choosing a reseller. One thing to note, resellers are just as their name implies, they are reselling long distance on the network of main tier 1 providers, AT&T, Verizon, Qwest, Global Crossing.
These resellers can be advantageous but you have to do your homework. If a reseller goes out of business that means your long distance service is out of business, too.
If your long distance isn’t important for you, then it won’t matter which carrier you choose but if it’s important to you, then you need expert advice in choosing the best and most stable carrier.
I will give you several options to choose from and my recommendations why the particular company of choice would be the best fit for your business and then you choose. You’ve got no risk.
6 -Why shouldn’t I just go directly to the carrier myself?
You can click here for more detailed information. But the bottom line is this..
You will have NO representation, they will not sell you the best rate plan for your business and you still have to deal with their customer service anytime you have issues or problems.
I don’t know about you, I’ve waisted enough time talking to clueless customer service reps.
7 - How do I know you will actually be my representative and not just give my name to 6-7 other carriers like some other sites do.
First, you can to read what a few of my clients have said about our service.
The type of sites you are referring to is something called affiliates.
You see, most websites who provide rates are only interested in handing you off directly to the carrier. Or it’s the carriers website, then you’re stuck with a high pressure call center telemarketer from their company.
They’ll earn their commission and off to the next sale, leaving you with no support.
Then they hope it works out for you. Hopefully you’ll actually save some money. They don’t even offer you any kind of guarantee! I do!
Also…
You never get any type of personal contact with them… basically, you deal with a web site and email.
You still have to handle all the problems yourself from dealing with billing headaches, overcharges and maintenance issues… just to name a few.
With my free service, not only do I guarantee the lowest rate, I am your representation with the carrier of your choice.
What sounds better to you?
Make 7 calls (the average) to resolve an issue on your own.
Or…
Make one call to me and let me do your work for you so you can get back to more important things.
8 - So what’s the deal with your guarantee?
I wanted to prove to you that I’m serious about offering the lowest rates possible. Everyone likes to throw the word guarantee around without backing it up. As the old saying goes, put your money where your mouth is.
9 – I’m rather leery of telecom agents. I’ve had a bad experience with one before so how do I know you aren’t just like the rest of these guys.
I understand your concern here. I admit, my fellow agents in this industry are motivated by greed.
I operate differently. My passion lies in saving my clients the most amount of money possible. When I begin thinking of a solution for your business I have longevity in mind. What’s going to make this client stay with me long term?
My actions are then to provide you the best solution.
My habit is to completely understand your business and be the expert of my industry.
My character will then allow me to give you an honest assessment of your options – the best choice for your particular businesses need. This is what will make you as a life long client.
We work very hard to earn our clients’ respect and referrals are the best complement we get.
My company that I built from the ground up is structured on integrity, trust, teamwork and delivering the best solution for our clients.
My approach is to understand your business and work with all levels of the organization to assess the current structure and what potential future telecommunications might be needed.
From the very beginning, I decided to be different than the others trying to provide telecommunication and long distance services.
My family is from the old country, Greece, and my father has instilled old fashioned values in me. I believe in doing business a different way or should I say, “the old fashioned way.”
Most of my competitors are in and out as soon as you sign their contract and their commission is paid by the carrier. If you’ve dealt with other agents or carriers directly, you know for a fact how frustrating this process can be.
You need the peace of mind that you have someone in your corner when issues arise with your telecom carrier.
This is why I want to build a relationship with you. I don’t look at you as a customer but as a client. A customer refers to a one time process, while a client refers to building a long term relationship.
Because of this relationship, my clients are excited to recommend my company when the opportunity presents itself. And some of my clients have actually have become very good friends.
10 – Is your pricing higher than the direct sales rep with the carrier?
Our prices our almost always lower because of our length of time in the business, and high volume, we are able to negotiate lower long distance rates than you would be able to get with the carrier.
Therefore, thanks to the agreements and the volume of business we have with each carrier, we can obtain wholesale rates for both switch and dedicated (T-1) services. Simple?
That’s the power of numbers
11 – So what’s next
